The Tech-Safe Learning Coalition’s mission is to bring together like-minded organizations and individuals who share one, unifying goal: to keep our children safe from the digital dangers of school-issued tech.
Founders
Rose Bronstein
Rose Bronstein is a founding board member of Buckets Over Bullying, a non-profit initiative whose mission is to stop cyberbullying of children and teens through education, lawmaking and legal action.
Buckets Over Bullying was founded to prevent what happened to 15-year-old Nate Bronstein – and continues to happen to far too many tech-tied teens who face cyberbullying — from happening again.
Nate Bronstein took his own life after he suffered relentless and vicious cyberbullying by basketball teammates and classmates at the Latin School of Chicago in December, 2021. Despite Nate filing a documented report to the school’s administration, nothing was done to stop the abuse.
The Bronstein Family Foundation supports in-school social media safety education through its partnership with the Organization for Social Media Safety, reaching over 11,000 students in the Chicago area and 30 schools in the Miami area.
At the federal level, the Foundation actively advocates for legislation that protects children from online harms, including the Kids Online Safety Act and Sammy’s Law.
At the state level, the Bronsteins are committed to holding all schools accountable when they fail to protect students from online harm after concerns have been formally reported.
In pursuit of systemic change and accountability, the Bronstein Family Foundation is currently engaged in litigation against the Latin School of Chicago to help ensure that no child experiences harm from classmates, faculty, or administrators.

In May of 2025, Nicki founded the S2D Foundation, which funds the important work of Scrolling 2 Death and TLC.
